Tour de France Cycle Race:
Passed within 150 metres of the gites in 2006 and 2008, and half an hour away in 2007. Les than an hour away in 2009 and the same for 2010.

From Ganties it is easily possible to travel and see at least two stages of 'Le Tour' within two hours; some years minutes. Ideal base for cyclists who wish to take part in the many organised events or who just wish to try their hand at parts of Le Tour.
