Those who Ski will note the signs at J20 ~ A64 ~ leading not only to Ganties, but the Ski Slopes.

Many people come to this area in winter, not only to Ski, but for just to get away from it all in the snow capped surroundings. Gites One and Two have wood burning stoves and will be fitted with additional electric heaters for any lets during the winter season. Ganties itself gets little snow in a normal winter but just up the road from Aspet onward, there is a good deal. 20008/09 was a very good for ski-ing, from December through to early March. The roads to the slopes are kept open and the slopes themselves are within one hour. Not being a participant in the sport further advice will have to be obtained from other sources. We will try to establish some 'links' for further information and put them below when available. The Gites have been let over the Christmas period in the past - Ski or no Ski.
