From Toulouse/Blagnac airport take the motorway towards Toulouse: Before Toulouse follow the signs for A64 towards Tarbes/Lourdes. If you are driving from the North then again take the route signposted Tarbes/Lourdes as you approach Toulouse. (The blue signs are for the Motorway/Toll roads and the green for the Route N - use the Motorway Toll road or it will take at least twice as long.)
Take the A64 (There is a €1.60 toll just outside Toulouse) to Junction 20; Salles-du-Salat, Saint Giron, St Martory exit. (Ignore the sign saying to exit at Junction 21 to avoid the toll - there is no toll at Junction 20) ~ Take the road to St Giron then follow the Aspet signs after a few minutes - a right turn at the top of the hill with a Cafe on the corner. Junction at Figarol is dangerous ~ take care ~ left turn. Ganties is well sign posted to the right about 6 mins (7km) after Figarol on the road to Aspet. Turn right for Ganties then take the very first left to the gites, up a narrow road. The main house will be the first you will see and if you turn right here, after 20 metres you can turn left into the gite car park. If we do not answer the door bell at the main house then we are probably in the garden.
From Pau: A64 towards Toulouse and exit junction 20. From Carcassonne: To Toulouse then take the A64 Tarbes/Lourdes. There are tolls from both Pau and Carcassone - cash is easiest.
From Toulouse the journey allow 1 hour, unless it is rush hour - 4 to 6 pm when you can add 30 mins.
From Pau it is 1hr 30 min and Carcassone 1hr 45 mins (more if Toulouse rush hour)
